The velcro closure makes it easy to open and close, even for younger children. This bag has a practical shape and is light weight. Designed with optional inside pockets for an ice pack and utensils. 

The bag is spacious enough for a bento box, all sorts of snacks, fruits, water bottle or juice box. Measurements are about 25,5cm (10 inches) hight (without the handles) by 27 cm (10.5 inches) wide and 8.5cm (3.25 inches) deep at the base of the bag. Handles are 30cm (11.75 inches)

You will need 35 cm (13.75") of main fabric, 35 cm (13.75") of lining (ideally water resistant) and 35 cm (13.75") of insulating fabric (with an aluminium side). You will also need some interfacing and velcro. Of course don't forget to get some matching thread!
