This DIY yarn hair hat is great for Halloween costumes and dress-up! Unlike store-bought wigs that tend to be scratchy and uncomfortable, this yarn hat is easy to wear. Just put on the hat and you’ve got a head full of colorful yarn hair!
You will need some yarn (about 5.5oz/255yds). Mid-size gauge acrylic yarn will work best, because it is lightweight and easy to care for. To get a multicolor wig just get a multicolor skein.
You will also need a bucket hat. You can make all sizes: children, adult, you choose the size of the hat and your done!
